View original imageThe Children’s Safety Awards are given annually to recognize excellent children’s safety initiatives carried out by local governments to enhance children’s safety and promote related policies.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety accepted applications for ‘Outstanding Cases of Children’s Safety Accident Prevention Activities’ from local governments nationwide from July 26 to October 29. After document evaluation, on-site inspections, online public voting, and presentation reviews, outstanding local governments were selected.
Goyang City’s outstanding children’s safety policy projects include ▶ Diagnosis of disaster and crisis awareness in the children’s sector ▶ Free safety education support for workers at children’s facilities ▶ Operation of a children’s safety and security experience center ▶ Formation of the Dream Tree Civil Defense Team.
