The program is operated by the James Dyson Foundation, a charitable organization commissioned by Dyson. This year, the classes for elementary students expanded from Seoul to Gyeonggi Province and Busan, and a new program was introduced for middle school students. As a result, more than three times the number of students compared to the previous year participated, totaling 6,267 students. A total of 277 classes received the education.
Through the lessons, students examined the seriousness of air pollution and the importance of indoor and outdoor air quality issues. The teaching materials were developed by the James Dyson Foundation in collaboration with Dyson engineers. The learning direction was designed to encourage students to think about solutions to air quality problems based on an eco-friendly awareness.
In particular, the newly introduced program for middle school students this year included activities where students directly measured air quality levels within their schools and discussed ways to improve air quality in their daily lives.
