‘Achieving Empathetic and Trusted Integrity Administration’ Shines with Results
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 23rd that it achieved a grade 2 (Excellent), one level higher than the previous year, in the '2024 Public Institution Comprehensive Integrity Evaluation' announced by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on the 19th.

View original imageThis evaluation was conducted by measuring the perceived integrity through surveys targeting external stakeholders and internal employees, and comprehensively reflecting the institution's anti-corruption improvement efforts and the occurrence status of corruption incidents.
After analyzing the 2023 evaluation results, Paju City designated 2024 as the inaugural year for 'Realizing an Empathetic and Trusted Integrity Paju,' established the 'Integrity Paju Refresh' action plan, and has been focusing on implementing three major strategies and 26 policies.
In particular, this year, efforts were concentrated on improving external perception by expanding visiting integrity communication meetings focused on areas with low perception and strengthening integrity campaigns. These efforts led to significant improvement in the integrity perception score through enhanced awareness and cultural diffusion of integrity.
