Samjong KPMG "Supporting Independent Preparation Youth"... Practicing Continuous Donations
Samjong KPMG’s social welfare support corporation, Samjong Sarang Nanumhoe, announced on the 23rd that it donated 30 million KRW to the Youth Root Foundation to strengthen the daily living skills of youth preparing for independence.
Since 2022, Samjong KPMG has donated a total of 90 million KRW to the Youth Root Foundation, supporting the healthy growth of youth preparing for independence who have left facilities and are living independently through the cooking class ‘KkumCook,’ a daily living independence support project, and the housing environment improvement project ‘KkumTeo.’ Especially this year, through the ‘KkumTeo’ project, they identified single-person households of youth preparing for independence living in old and poor housing and provided customized environment improvements through a professional interior construction company.
Im Geun-gu, Chairman of Samjong KPMG’s Social Contribution Committee, said, “We continue to donate to support the healthy growth of youth living independently on their own, and we hope that the youth will dream bigger in their newly prepared homes.” He added, “We will continue to contribute in various fields so that future generations, including youth preparing for independence, can enter society stably.”
A representative of the Youth Root Foundation stated, “Thanks to Samjong KPMG’s sponsorship, the ‘home,’ the most important space in daily life, has become a place where youth preparing for independence can fully rest.” They added, “Improving the housing environment for youth preparing for independence not only relieves their economic burden as they take their first steps into society but also provides an opportunity for emotional stability. We sincerely thank them for their donation.”
