Gyeongbuk Education Scholarship Foundation Awards 116.3 Million Won in Scholarships to 168 Elementary, Middle, and High School Students
The Gyeongbuk Education Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Lim Jong-sik) held a scholarship award ceremony on the 23rd at the small auditorium of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education Training Center in Gumi City, awarding scholarships totaling 116.3 million KRW to 168 elementary, middle, and high school students in the province.
This scholarship was awarded to 168 students, including 120 elementary, middle, and high school students who were recommended by each education support office for their dedication to studies and exemplary behavior, and 48 students who achieved outstanding results at the 2024 national competitions, enhancing the prestige of Gyeongbuk education. About 100 people, including students, parents, and teachers, attended the ceremony to celebrate the students' achievements.
The Gyeongbuk Education Scholarship Foundation annually supports exemplary students, descendants of independence activists, and students who have brought honor to Gyeongbuk education, leading efforts to nurture talent for regional development.
The foundation plans to expand various supports in the future to provide practical help for students to achieve their dreams.
