BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) won the Excellent Institution Award for Small and Medium Banks in the Low-Income Financial Support category for the second consecutive year at the ‘2024 Inclusive and Win-Win Finance’ awards ceremony hosted by the Financial Supervisory Service on the afternoon of the 20th.
The Inclusive and Win-Win Finance awards ceremony is held annually by the Financial Supervisory Service to encourage participation and raise awareness of inclusive and win-win finance within the financial sector.
Busan Bank was recognized for its contribution to financial support for low-income and vulnerable groups facing difficulties.
In particular, this year, Busan Bank took the lead in inclusive finance by implementing the comprehensive low-income finance platform ‘Itda’ and focusing on supporting low-income finance centered on actual demanders, such as Sunshine Loans and New Hope Seed Loans.
