Police Investigate Park Jong-jun, Head of Security Service and 'Shadow of President Yoon,' as Witness
The police summoned Park Jong-jun, the head of the Presidential Security Service, as a witness for questioning in connection with the 'December 3 Emergency Martial Law Incident.'
According to the Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency on the 20th, Park was recently called twice to verify President Yoon Seok-yeol's movements before and after the declaration of martial law. Park has shadowed President Yoon for a significant portion of his schedule.
Previously, Police Chief Jo Ji-ho and others testified during police investigations that "we received a call from Park saying he wanted to see us, so we headed to Anga." Former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun was present at that meeting.
The police are also reportedly examining the relationship between former Intelligence Command Commander Noh Sang-won and Park.
