Gongjobon Requests Arrest Warrant for Former Intelligence Commander Moon Sang-ho
The Joint Investigation Headquarters (Police, High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Unit, Ministry of National Defense), investigating the '12·3 Emergency Martial Law Incident,' filed an arrest warrant for former Intelligence Command Commander Moon Sang-ho on the morning of the 20th.
Former Commander Moon is suspected of deploying the HID, a North infiltration operation unit under the Intelligence Command, as an emergency arrest squad for members of the National Assembly on the day President Yoon declared martial law on the 3rd. He is also accused of deploying intelligence agents to the Central Election Commission in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, after the martial law declaration. On the day martial law was declared, 10 intelligence agents were deployed to the Gwacheon Election Commission office.
