Yangpyeong-gun Holds Evaluation Meeting for 'Dalhaengi' Outreach Public-Private Cooperation Health and Welfare Service
Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jeon Jin-seon) announced on the 19th that it held an evaluation meeting for the visiting public-private cooperation health and welfare service, "Running Happiness Sharing Neighbors (Dalhaengi)" on the 18th.

View original imageAbout 60 people, including workers from institutions and organizations that participated in Dalhaengi as well as individual volunteers, attended the evaluation meeting to share the results and impressions of the health and welfare services provided over the past year.
Dalhaengi is a specialized public-private cooperation service unique to Yangpyeong-gun. This year, 15 health and welfare institutions within the county (National Health Insurance Service, Yangpyeong Senior Welfare Center, Yangpyeong Family Center, Yangpyeong Disabled Welfare Center, Yangpyeong Comprehensive Volunteer Center, Yangpyeong Mental Health Welfare Center, Yangpyeong Dementia Relief Center, Yangpyeong Regional Self-Support Center, Ongdalsem Residential Facility for Severely Disabled, Yangpyeong Infinite Care Center, Yangpyeong Public Health Center Health Policy Division, Health Promotion Division, Health Clinic, and each Eup/Myeon office) collaborated with volunteers to provide various welfare counseling services including long-term care insurance consultation, basic health checks, Sujichim (finger acupuncture), and foot massages.
According to the county, starting from March 6th in Dogok 3-ri village, Yangpyeong-eup, to December 18th in Cheonggye 2-ri village, Yangseo-myeon, the Dalhaengi project was conducted a total of 35 times throughout the year. Approximately 8,110 Yangpyeong residents used the service, 9 individuals with health concerns were identified and supported, and 1,238 promotional items were distributed.
Governor Jeon Jin-seon said, "The activation of Dalhaengi, the core of Yangpyeong-gun’s public-private cooperation service, was possible thanks to the cooperation of participating institutions. In 2025, we will further expand the visiting public-private cooperation health and welfare services through Dalhaengi."
