Park Jung-hoon "Never Heard Such Logic Before"... Reason for Direct Hit on Hong Jun-pyo
Hong Jun-pyo "Impeachment Support Discipline, Oh Se-hoon Must Have Reasons"
Park Jung-hoon "Never Heard Such (Omitted) Logic in My Life"
Daegu Mayor Hong Jun-pyo stated that lawmakers who supported the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol should be disciplined, while regarding Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, who switched to supporting the impeachment, he said, "There must have been some circumstances on his part." In response, Park Jung-hoon, a member of the People Power Party, launched harsh criticism at Mayor Hong.

You say we should discipline those who supported impeachment, but for metropolitan mayors who supported it, you say they must have had their reasons?"
He continued, "I don’t know much about politics since I haven’t been in it as long as Mayor Hong, but I do know that if our party wants to avoid being called a 'mental ward' and prevent Lee Jae-myung from taking power in the next presidential election, there are a few things that must be made clear." He added, "'Martial law was wrong,' 'President Yoon must receive legal judgment for his actions according to due process,' and 'In any case, a swift trial is necessary to prevent the criminal Lee Jae-myung from coming to power' are things that must be clearly stated."

Earlier, Mayor Hong had argued, "Proportional representation lawmakers shamelessly demanding expulsion should have their party membership suspended for three years for violating party policy, and among the district lawmakers, those who are advocates for impeachment support should have their party membership suspended for about two years to maintain party discipline." However, regarding Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, who expressed support for impeachment, he said, "There must have been some circumstances on his part," adding, "There are probably very few people in our party who supported the emergency martial law. Although it was a misjudgment by the president, it was because the Democratic Party’s atrocities, holding the National Assembly hostage, had reached an extreme."
