Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the '2024 Lifelong Learning Support Project Performance Sharing Meeting' on the 17th at the City Hall Citizen Hall to share the achievements of lifelong learning and explore future support directions.

View original imageAt the performance sharing meeting, over 100 participants from 32 institutions, organizations, and clubs took part in four areas including exhibition of works, video viewing, case presentations, and performance sharing, introducing their activities and sharing their achievements and experiences.
In addition, alongside the performance presentations by subcontractors, expert evaluations were added to assess the sustainability and effectiveness of the lifelong learning support project. Based on these evaluations, Changwon City plans to develop more practical lifelong learning programs and reorganize the support system to strengthen future lifelong learning support projects.
Jang Geum-yong, the First Deputy Mayor, stated, “I hope the 2024 Lifelong Learning Support Project Performance Sharing Meeting served as an opportunity for citizens to learn from each other and grow. We will continue to do our best to provide a sustainable lifelong learning environment.”

Meanwhile, the 2024 Lifelong Learning Support Project involved a total of 64 institutions, organizations, and clubs. In particular, to increase youth participation, various programs such as after-work learning programs for office workers, employment and start-up support classes, and one-day parenting classes were introduced, greatly contributing to satisfying citizens’ desire to learn and spreading the value of lifelong learning.
