Icheon-si, Application Open for Soil Conditioner Support Project
By February 20 Next Year... Expansion of Eco-Friendly Agriculture
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is accepting applications for the 'Soil Conditioner Support Project,' which is being promoted as part of the eco-friendly agriculture foundation establishment project, until February 20 next year.
The Soil Conditioner Support Project aims to improve farmland with low effective silica content or acidic soil by using silica and lime, to prevent heavy metal contamination and maintain and preserve soil fertility.
Applications are accepted every three years, and the city plans to supply the requested amount once annually to designated supply areas from 2026 to 2028. Eligible applicants are agricultural management entities registered with agricultural management information, and applications are limited to farmland registered under the applicant's agricultural management information.
The applied soil conditioners will be supplied sequentially after a selection review to ▲Majang-myeon, Daewol-myeon, Seolseong-myeon, and Yul-myeon in 2026 ▲Sindun-myeon, Hobup-myeon, Moga-myeon, and Dong area in 2027 ▲Janghowon-eup, Bubal-eup, and Baeksa-myeon in 2028. Selected project participants must maintain their agricultural management entity registration until the supply period.
