First, the county aims to successfully lead festivals and events held during the year-end and New Year period, contributing to the recovery of the local economy, while also promoting volunteer work and donation culture for marginalized groups.
In preparation for winter disasters, major risk factors such as heavy snowfall, cold waves, and fires will be proactively managed, and the operation status of shelters for vulnerable groups during cold spells will be thoroughly inspected.
Additionally, a rapid reporting system and emergency contact network will be organized to ensure security management of key facilities and to establish strict work discipline.
To effectively implement these plans, Yeongdeok-gun has been operating the ‘Livelihood Stabilization Task Force’ since the 9th, led by Vice Governor Moon Seong-jun as the head of the task force. This organization will devise and execute practical measures for stabilizing livelihoods and restoring the local economy until the situation is resolved.
