View original imageAt the meeting chaired by Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, inspections of urgent projects closely related to public livelihood were conducted, followed by requests for the establishment of discipline among city officials and the flawless execution of tasks.
In particular, the main agenda items included stabilizing the local economy with high citizen awareness such as boosting local consumption, as well as preventive inspections and the establishment of a rapid and organic cooperation system for major winter safety disasters including heavy snow, cold waves, and fires.
Additionally, smooth promotion of various welfare projects was emphasized, including livelihood support for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, disabled, and low-income families, and strengthening protection through the activation of emergency medical systems.
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok of Namyangju City stated, “This is a serious situation where difficulties in people’s livelihoods are intensifying due to the recent domestic economic downturn and political turmoil,” and added, “At times like this, all public officials must faithfully fulfill their given missions and roles without any hesitation and devote all efforts to caring for the public livelihood.”
