A Step Toward Fostering a High-Level Sports Culture

View original imageSupported by the Gyeonggi-do Sports Human Rights Center, this education was carried out with the purpose of preventing human rights violations occurring in the sports field and fostering a high-quality sports culture so that all athletes can safely engage in sports activities. A total of 50 people attended, including coaches and players of the Yangpyeong-gun Office Ssireum team and Yangpyeong FC coaches and players.
In particular, the education held under the subtitle "Where Sports and Human Rights Meet" focused on topics such as "Violence Prevention and Enhancement of Sports Human Rights," addressing the importance of sports ethics and the necessity of sports human rights for athletes. The session lasted about two hours.
An official who participated in the education said, "We appreciate Yangpyeong-gun's support for protecting the human rights of athletes," and added, "We hope the education continues so that all athletes and sportspeople can be happy in the sports field."
