Yeoju-si Delivers 'Emergency Assembly Requests for Senior Officials' Related to Presidential Impeachment
Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) held an emergency assembly on December 14th at 6 p.m., gathering all city hall departments, eup/myeon/dong heads, team leaders, and deputy eup/myeon/dong heads, with 107 people responding. During the meeting, instructions were conveyed to the attending executives to ensure that the city administration related to the presidential impeachment proceeds without any margin of error.

View original imageMayor Lee Chung-woo of Yeoju emphasized, “Even amid the impeachment political situation, our public officials must thoroughly complete the various projects being carried out this year without wavering and focus on current issues during the regular session of the Yeoju City Council.” He continued, “While preparing meticulously for the 2025 tasks, considering that next year’s economic situation is expected to be difficult, please ensure prompt execution and make every effort to revitalize the local economy.”
He also stated, “Understanding the frustration citizens feel due to the impeachment, public officials must be especially careful with their words and actions to prevent any laxity in public service discipline during the year-end and New Year period.” He added, “Especially in difficult times for society, public officials should carefully look after the underprivileged and strive to help them have a warm winter.”
