Korea Deloitte Group Supports Year-End Community Sharing Activities for Vulnerable Groups
Korea Deloitte Group recently announced on the 16th that it conducted various sharing volunteer activities to help vulnerable groups in the local community in celebration of the year-end. Approximately 50 executives and employees participated in this volunteer activity.
The year-end sharing volunteer program consisted of three activities: packing happiness boxes for children at risk of food insecurity, making Christmas wreaths for single-parent families, and volunteering for free meal distribution.
First, through the 'Happiness Box Packing Volunteer' activity, about 100 happiness boxes containing snacks and daily necessities to be provided to children at risk of food insecurity were packed, and letters with messages to the children were written.
Additionally, at Yongsan's 'Warm Filling Center,' free meal distribution volunteer activities were carried out targeting marginalized groups such as elderly living alone near Seoul Station, homeless people, and residents of small room villages.
Lastly, a 'Christmas Wreath Making' volunteer activity was held to support low-income single-parent families. This activity was conducted in cooperation with the Korea Social Welfare Association as part of vocational education and training to help the self-reliance of low-income single-parent families. The Christmas wreaths made directly by the executives and employees will be delivered to 20 single-parent families nationwide.
