Democratic Party: "Will Not Mention Yoon's Impeachment or Others... Outlook Is Meaningless"
Ahead of impeachment vote, People Power Party to begin persuasion
Regarding Prime Minister's impeachment review, "Not a situation to mention"
The Democratic Party of Korea decided on the 14th to refrain from mentioning anything other than 'presidential impeachment' ahead of the vote on the second impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol. The Democratic Party also plans to continue persuading members of the People Power Party.
No Jong-myeon, the Democratic Party floor spokesperson, told reporters after a closed-door party meeting that morning, when asked about the possibility of considering impeachment against Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, "It is not a situation to mention today," and made the remarks accordingly.

Currently, the Democratic Party is deliberating on pushing for the impeachment of Prime Minister Han and other cabinet members. This is based on the judgment that they are both bystanders to martial law and the key figures who must fill the government vacuum after impeachment. It is known that the Democratic Party is preparing impeachment motions not only against Prime Minister Han but also against Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Choi Sang-mok, Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yeol, Minister of Unification Kim Young-ho, Minister of Health and Welfare Cho Kyu-hong, and Minister of SMEs and Startups Oh Young-joo, who attended the cabinet meeting. However, there are also opinions within the party that "a well-prepared plan that reassures the public must be presented."

No, the floor spokesperson, also expressed his determination to continue persuading members of the People Power Party until the end. He said, "Any forecast itself is meaningless at this point," and added, "The expression 'optimism' itself seems inappropriate at this time."
