CEO Baek Jong-hoon: "There Is No Labor or Management in Creating Safety"
Kumho Petrochemical announced on the 13th that it held a joint labor-management declaration ceremony for win-win cooperation and the creation of a safe workplace at the Ulsan Suji Plant on the 12th. The ceremony was attended by CEO Baek Jong-hoon, Nam Jung-woo, Head of the Safety and Environment Planning Office, safety and health management officers from the Ulsan and Yeosu plants, and labor union chairpersons.
The declaration ceremony was held as part of the '2024 Safety and Environment Integrated Meeting' event, aimed at conveying the CEO's policy and commitment to safety and environmental culture and strengthening company-wide safety and environmental collaboration. Specifically, the labor and management declared to work together toward three main goals: ▲ implementation of safety and health management systems to prevent major accidents ▲ creation of a safe and pleasant working environment ▲ establishment of an autonomous safety management culture.
