Jinju City in Gyeongnam held an interim report meeting for the architectural design service of the ‘Jinju Green Bio Venture Campus Development Project’ at the city hall situation room, attended by Mayor Jo Gyu-il, public architects, and related officials.
The interim report meeting held on the 9th was conducted with a report on the basic design plan of the Green Bio Venture Campus by the architectural firm Gwangjang, which is carrying out the service, as well as the progress of the service, followed by questions and answers.

View original imageThe Green Bio Venture Campus is a specialized startup incubation institution that provides research spaces and equipment specialized in green bio, as well as startup incubation programs, to establish an ecosystem for the green bio industry, a new growth business of future agriculture.
The city plans to invest a total project cost of 33.8 billion KRW to build the Jinju Green Bio Venture Campus on a 35,167㎡ site within the Jinju Bio Industry Promotion Agency located in Munsan-eup. The building will be six stories above ground with a total floor area of 5,730㎡. The design is scheduled to be completed by February next year, and after administrative procedures such as construction technology review, the project aims to start construction in August.

Mayor Jo Gyu-il requested, “In the basic design plan presented at today’s report meeting, the entrances of the Bio Promotion Agency, Silk Research Institute, and Silk Museum form an offset intersection. We ask related organizations to cooperate well to improve the traffic system into a four-way intersection for smooth vehicle flow and accident prevention, and to supplement the landscaping plan with facilities that match the image of the Green Bio Venture Campus.”
