Focused Fundraising for Lunchboxes Until the 31st
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced on the 10th that they will conduct an intensive fundraising campaign for the ‘Baemin Vacation Lunchbox’ to support meals for 1,000 children at risk of food insecurity during the winter vacation period.
Through this campaign, Baemin plans to provide a total of 32,000 meals, including one lunchbox and three meal vouchers per week, to 1,000 children at risk of food insecurity in eight regions nationwide from January 6 to February 26. All donations from sponsors will be used entirely for lunchbox production, and Baemin will provide the meal vouchers.
The Baemin Vacation Lunchbox is Baemin’s representative social contribution project that ensures meals and safety for children at risk of food insecurity during vacation periods. It started in 2020 and has continued for five years. Until this summer, over eight vacation periods, it supported 117,554 meals for 5,183 children at 358 schools in eight regions. The cumulative number of donors has reached 12,373. With this winter vacation being the ninth campaign, the total support will approach 150,000 meals.
