According to the US daily The New York Times (NYT) on the 9th (local time), Swift's concert production company 'Taylor Swift Touring' disclosed the revenue record for the first time on this day. The ticket revenue for Swift's 'The Eras Tour,' which concluded with 149 shows the previous day, amounts to $2,076,187,725 (approximately 2.9745 trillion KRW). Over about 21 months since March last year, the tour attracted 10,168,008 attendees worldwide, including North America. Based on this figure, the average seat price was approximately $204 (about 290,000 KRW).

The largest audience was at the Melbourne, Australia concert on February 16, with 96,006 attendees. The city with the highest total attendance was London, UK, where eight consecutive shows were held at Wembley Stadium, drawing a total of 753,112 people.

Concert ticket revenue is not the entirety of performance income. Sales of T-shirts, souvenirs, and other merchandise at the venues also generate revenue comparable to ticket sales. In fact, a 256-page concert photo book released last month sold 814,000 copies within the first two days.

Swift's The Eras Tour ticket revenue reportedly surpassed 1 billion dollars as early as December last year. This is the highest among all pop star tours in history. The newly released final figures surpass the estimates from a year ago and show nearly double the revenue of the second-highest, rock band Coldplay.

The Associated Press cited data from concert market analysis firm Pollstar, estimating The Eras Tour revenue at about 2.2 billion dollars and Coldplay's 'Music of the Spheres' tour revenue at approximately 1.14 billion dollars. Coldplay's tour has been ongoing since March 2022 with 156 shows and will continue into next year.

According to Pollstar's estimates, about 10.3 million tickets were sold for Coldplay's tour, which is more than The Eras Tour's approximately 10 million tickets sold. Despite this, the revenue difference is nearly double due to ticket price differences. The average ticket price for the world's top 100 tours last year was $131 (about 188,000 KRW). Swift's concert tickets were about twice as expensive as this.
