The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization held the 'Gyeonggi Tourism & MICE Briefing Session' in China.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, together with local tourism companies and institutions, formed the 'Gyeonggi Tourism & MICE Public-Private Joint Delegation' and held a briefing session on the 5th at the Primus Hotel in Shanghai, targeting about 80 people from 40 travel agencies in the East China region (Shanghai, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province), the organization announced on the 6th.
The briefing session was promoted to expand exchanges in tourism and MICE sectors with Gyeonggi Province, targeting China, the largest source country of foreign visitors to Korea.

Jo Wonyong, President of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, stated, "Recently, there was a Korea-China summit, and with the visa exemption for Koreans visiting China, various exchanges between the two countries are expected to expand." He emphasized, "The East China region, including Shanghai, is an important area leading China's economy, culture, and tourism. Through this briefing session, we will actively support the revitalization of exchanges in tourism and MICE sectors between Gyeonggi Province and China."
