Following President Yoon Suk-yeol's declaration of martial law on the 3rd, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy convened its executives around midnight on the 4th to assess the real economy situation.

An official from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy stated, "Through the emergency real economy inspection meeting, we reviewed and discussed economic and industrial conditions as well as energy supply issues related to the declaration of martial law," adding, "We have decided to meticulously manage the situations in industry, trade, and energy to minimize the impact on the real economy."
