Jeju Provincial Council to Hold Final Extraordinary Session of the Year from 10th to 16th
December 12-13 Budget and Accounts Special Committee
The Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Council (Chairman Lee Sang-bong) confirmed the schedule for the 434th extraordinary session, the last session of this year, to be held over seven days from the 10th to the 16th.
The 1st plenary session will open on the 10th, followed by standing committee activities on the 11th, special budget and accounts committee activities on the 12th and 13th, and the 2nd plenary session will convene on the 16th.
A total of 53 bills were proposed or submitted for the 434th extraordinary session, including 20 ordinances proposed by council members, 24 submitted by the governor, and 9 submitted by the superintendent of education. After review by the respective standing committees and the special budget and accounts committee, they will be deliberated and resolved at the plenary session on the 16th.

Meanwhile, the Jeju Provincial Council held 11 sessions totaling 130 days throughout this year, including the 434th extraordinary session. The basic schedule for the council's operations in 2025 will be finalized by January 10 next year after consultation with the Council Steering Committee.
