S-OIL (CEO: Anwar Al Hizazi) held an information session inviting over 440 representatives from partner companies as part of building a sustainable supply chain through mutual growth with its partners.

View original imageAt the sessions held in Ulsan and Seoul, S-OIL introduced its purchasing procedures, electronic procurement system (e-Procurement), and policies and procedures currently in operation to strengthen supply chain ESG management, urging compliance with cybersecurity and ethical management guidelines.
At this event, S-OIL stated that it has strived to continuously operate an advanced purchasing process where fairness and transparency function in order to build a sustainable supply chain amid rapidly changing market conditions, and plans to continuously support ESG management for partner companies to achieve mutual growth.
S-OIL selects suppliers by comprehensively considering ESG capabilities such as safety, environment, and corporate ethics of its partner companies.
Additionally, to strengthen win-win cooperation with partner companies, it supports safety certification (KOSHA-MS) acquisition consulting and ESG operation status self-diagnosis and evaluation for construction/service partner companies.

Furthermore, since 2022, S-OIL has established a scholarship support program for partner companies in the Ulsan region, providing approximately 200 million KRW in scholarships to children of partner company employees, and is also conducting a project to support rest facilities for resident companies at the Ulsan plant.
