S-Oil Holds Purchase Briefing Session for Partner Company Representatives
Inviting Headquarters and Factory Partners... "As Part of Win-Win Growth"
On the 3rd, S-Oil announced that it held a briefing session inviting over 440 representatives from partner companies as part of building a sustainable supply chain through mutual growth with its partners.
At the briefing sessions held in Ulsan and Seoul at the end of last month, S-Oil introduced its purchasing procedures, electronic procurement system (e-Procurement), and policies and procedures currently in operation to strengthen supply chain Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management. Additionally, it urged compliance with cybersecurity and ethical management guidelines.

S-Oil selects suppliers by comprehensively considering the ESG capabilities of partner companies, including safety, environment, and corporate ethics. To strengthen win-win cooperation with partners, it supports construction and service partners in obtaining safety certification (KOSHA-MS), conducting self-assessments and evaluations of ESG operational status, among other initiatives. Furthermore, since 2022, it has established a scholarship support program for partner companies in the Ulsan region, providing approximately 200 million KRW in scholarships to children of partner company employees, and is also running a project to support rest facilities for on-site companies at the Ulsan plant.
