Gyeongbuk Development Corporation (President Lee Jae-hyuk) has once again contributed this year to help vulnerable groups struggling with heating costs have a warm and happy winter. On the 2nd, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation announced that it donated 100 million KRW for heating expenses for vulnerable groups at the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign held at the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government Office. The donation will be provided to Gyeongbuk residents through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea and the Love Briquette Sharing Movement.
This "Heating Cost Support for Vulnerable Groups" project is part of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation's social contribution efforts, which have been carried out for 12 years since 2013 to address the blind spots in energy welfare. As of this year, the cumulative donation amount has reached over 1.2 billion KRW. The corporation stated that due to rising prices and soaring energy costs, many households are struggling with heating expenses, and therefore, the heating cost support project will be promoted without exception this year as well.
