Guri-si Launches 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign'
62 Days of Warm Sharing Hands
Encouraging Citizen Participation to Reach Love Temperature 100℃
Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 2nd that it will carry out the ‘Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign’ for 62 days from the 1st of this month to January 31, 2025, to help underprivileged groups during the year-end and New Year holidays.
The slogan of this campaign is “Make myself valuable through donation, make Guri valuable,” with a fundraising goal of 300 million KRW. For every 1% of the fundraising target achieved, the temperature of the ‘Love Thermometer’ installed at Guri Station Plaza will rise by 1℃.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri said, “I hope many people will participate in the campaign to create a warm Guri City together,” and added, “Donations are a precious activity that delivers hope and value to each other beyond simple material sharing, so I ask for the interest and participation of many citizens.”
