Yongin City Supports Installation of IoT Measurement Devices in Small-Scale Air Emission Facilities
Applications Accepted from 16 to 27... 90% Installation Cost Support
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 2nd that it will carry out the 'Internet of Things (IoT) Measurement Device Attachment Support Project' targeting small-scale air emission facility installation sites.
The support target is small and medium-sized enterprises classified as types 4 and 5 air emission facilities under the Air Environment Conservation Act. The city will cover 90% of the installation costs, and the business operators only need to bear 10%.
The city plans to prioritize support for small-scale businesses with low revenue for which the legal deadline for mandatory IoT measurement device installation, June 30 of next year, is approaching. To this end, the city sent advance notification letters to 253 businesses without IoT devices to encourage early attachment of IoT devices within the mandatory installation period.
The application period is from the 16th to the 27th, and it may close early if the budget is exhausted. Interested companies can send their application forms and supporting documents to the 'Gyeonggi Environment and Energy Agency' contact email (sub@ggeea.or.kr). The agency will select support recipients after document screening.
