Yeongju City to Host December Yeongju Character Academy with Monk Beopryun Invitation
Happy Conversation with Beopryun Sunim, a Teacher of Our Time
Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk will hold the last Yeongju Character Academy of the year on December 4th at 2 PM at the Yeongju Culture and Arts Center, inviting Beopryun Seunim for a talk titled "Happy Conversation with Beopryun Seunim: Immediate Questions and Answers."
Beopryun Seunim is the chairman of the Peace Foundation and a guiding Buddhist teacher of the Jungto Order, personally practicing both spiritual training and social activities. He gained fame for his Immediate Questions and Answers lectures, which help the public find their own answers through listening to their concerns and engaging in dialogue. In 2020, he received the Niwano Peace Prize, known as the Nobel Peace Prize of Asian religions.
In this Immediate Questions and Answers lecture, he plans to clearly and simply resolve the complex worries that modern people face in daily life, delivering wisdom and enlightenment for living.
The lecture is free and open to all citizens without prior registration.
