NH Investment & Securities forecasted on the 29th that Hecto Financial is expected to record positive performance in the fourth quarter of this year, and based on this, growth is expected to be prominent in new business sectors such as overseas settlement and prepaid services.
Yoon Yudong, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, stated in a report on the same day, "Operating revenue in the fourth quarter is expected to reach approximately 41.6 billion KRW, a 7.7% increase compared to the same period last year, and operating profit is expected to grow by 57.9% to 4.6 billion KRW," adding, "In particular, the expansion of the proportion of internal account payments is expected to have a positive impact on profitability."
He added, "In the overseas settlement sector, the company has recently been expanding collaboration with well-known global platforms," noting, "It is responsible for settlements with Company A, Company T, Company S, and major e-commerce Company A, and revenue in this sector has steadily increased from 230 million KRW in Q1, 470 million KRW in Q2, to 810 million KRW in Q3, and is expected to continue growing in Q4."
Analysis also indicates positive performance in new services such as prepaid business and escrow settlement agency. Although legal amendments related to the prepaid business are scheduled, the company plans to secure as many customers as possible during the six-month grace period and to recognize revenue starting from March next year.
Furthermore, in the escrow settlement agency business, the company has signed its first contract with a reseller platform merchant, achieving tangible results. The escrow agency service is expected to be fully launched in the fourth quarter, and through this, future revenue scale can be estimated, according to researcher Yoon.

He concluded, "The PG company will continue to grow next year through various new business sectors such as overseas settlement, prepaid business, and escrow agency services," and analyzed, "In particular, the expansion of collaboration with overseas platforms and the favorable environment created by legal amendments will act as important growth drivers for the expansion of new services."
