Dr. Christophe Diaz, Chief Officer of Cure PSP, Visits Korea
GemVax & Kael announced on the 28th that Dr. Kristophe Diaz, Chief Officer of CurePSP, will visit Korea next week.
Dr. Kristophe Diaz will visit Korea for 4 nights and 5 days from the 2nd of next month, during which he plans to meet with PSP patients and their caregivers, as well as various related organizations, to introduce CurePSP and explore various cooperation opportunities.
CurePSP is a nonprofit charitable organization based in New York, USA, established in 1990. It aims to raise awareness of neurodegenerative diseases such as PSP, CBD (Corticobasal Degeneration), and MSA (Multiple System Atrophy), and provides support and education for patients and families, expands expert networks, and funds research.
Dr. Diaz serves as the Chief Officer and Chief Scientific Officer of CurePSP, leading CurePSP programs and partnerships, playing a key role in the organization.

The number of PSP patients is estimated to be about 20,000 to 30,000 in the United States, and approximately 300,000 worldwide. Korea is known to have around 2,500 to 3,000 patients.
