On the 27th, Korea National Oil Corporation held an ethics enhancement training for auditors at its Ulsan headquarters, led by Park Gong-woo, Standing Audit Committee Member, and held a ‘Pledge Ceremony for Compliance with Auditor Code of Conduct and Eradication of Gapjil’.

View original imageThis ethics enhancement training was conducted on topics including ▲the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act ▲prevention of gapjil in the workplace ▲guidance on reporting channels, to reaffirm the ethical standards auditors must comply with and strengthen self-control.
In particular, the training was conducted in an interactive communication format centered on cases that auditors may actually face in their work, thereby increasing its effectiveness.
Park Gong-woo, Standing Audit Committee Member of the Oil Corporation, who conducted the training that day, emphasized, “The ethics and self-control of auditors are core competencies necessary to perform fair audits,” and added, “Since auditors are the last bastion ensuring transparency and ethics within the organization, we will continue to conduct ethics enhancement training for auditors.”
After the training, Park Gong-woo and the auditors reaffirmed their commitment to sincere job performance and eradication of gapjil through the ‘Pledge Ceremony for Compliance with Auditor Code of Conduct and Eradication of Gapjil’.
