Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, Wins 'National 1st Place' in Life Empathy Policy Contest
"Civic Sympathy and Mutual Growth in District Administration"
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, was selected as the 'No. 1 nationwide' in the 1st Life Empathy Policy Proposal Contest hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This contest was organized to identify inconveniences occurring in local areas and evaluate the outcomes of deriving improvement measures.
Among 79 proposals submitted from 17 cities and provinces nationwide, 10 excellent cases were selected through evaluation of feasibility, creativity, effectiveness, and scope of application.
Gwangsan-gu achieved a high score and ranked first with its proposal on 'Doubling visibility and reducing budget through a new method of road surface marking.'
