Jo In-cheol, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea (Gwangju Seo-gu Gap), announced on the 27th that he received the party leader's 'Level 1 Commendation.'
The Democratic Party leader's Level 1 Commendation is an award given to party members who have made significant contributions to the development of the party. This award was given in recognition of Jo's contribution as the standing co-chairman of the election campaign, which led to victory in the Yeonggwang County mayoral by-election held on the 16th of last month.
During the election period, Jo actively campaigned throughout his hometown, Yeonggwang region. In particular, by listening to the voices of residents and conducting election campaigns directly on-site, he gained broad support from the local community.
