The delivery items include food such as fried chicken, △AED △emergency medical equipment △painkillers △antipyretics △digestive medicine, and other medical supplies, with the project scheduled to continue until the end of November.
This training was conducted under the assumption that a cardiac arrest patient occurred on the lawn of Okjeong Lake Park in the jurisdiction, and an AED was urgently delivered by drone while emergency responders from Yangju Fire Station’s Okjeong 119 Safety Center provided emergency care.
Additionally, Yangju City explained that it is planning further cooperative projects with Yangju Fire Station, such as utilizing delivery drones to drop throwable fire extinguishers at fire scenes for early fire response.
