Bloomberg: "Samsung to Build EV Factory in Czech Republic"… Samsung Says "Not Confirmed"
Foreign media reported that Samsung plans to build an electric vehicle battery factory in the Czech Republic.
According to Bloomberg on the 25th, Czech media Pravo reported that Samsung plans to build a so-called gigafactory in eastern Czech Republic and may start producing batteries for electric vehicles in five years. Pravo did not disclose its sources.

Bl?ha, Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, said the investing company is reliable, proven, and belongs to a democratic country that has maintained a friendly relationship with the Czech Republic for a long time. However, Bloomberg reported that the company name was not revealed as it was agreed to remain confidential.
In this regard, a Samsung SDI official stated, "We are reviewing several regions as new investment bases, but the investment location has not been decided."
