Park Yoon-kyung, Chairman of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended the 13th Korea-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KJCCI) Chairmen's Meeting held at the Imperial Hotel in Osaka, Japan, on the 25th, where he received the KJCCI Cooperation Merit Award.

Chairman Park was recognized for his continuous exchange and cooperation with the Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce and Industry since the sister city relationship between Daegu and Hiroshima was established in 1997, and he became the first recipient of the KJCCI Cooperation Merit Award presented at the KJCCI Chairmen's Meeting.
Regarding the main agenda of this meeting on Korea-Japan economic cooperation, Chairman Park mentioned the need for a collaborative system among various stakeholders, human networks, and a bridging role between the two countries to revitalize exchanges between the Korea and Japan Chambers of Commerce and Industry. He proposed the promotion of joint projects and the establishment of a consultative body for this purpose.
