Asan City Wins 'Minister of Environment Award' at Free Home Appliance Collection Contest
Asan City in South Chungcheong Province announced on the 25th that it received the Minister of Environment Award at the 'Free Home Collection of Waste Appliances Competition'.
Esunhwan Governance (Korea Electronics Recycling Cooperative) evaluated the performance of home collection of waste appliances, the operation of the free home collection service, and outstanding cases over three stages.
The city collected 468 tons of waste appliances this year, following 461 tons last year, and was selected as an excellent local government for two consecutive years by improving working conditions.
The free home collection of waste appliances can be requested through the disposal reservation system operated by Esunhwan Governance.
