'Selection and Focus'... Yangsan City Achieves Success in Public Contest Projects, Secures 45.7 Billion KRW in National and Provincial Funding
Selection of 39 Public Contest Projects in 2024
As of November 25, 2024, Yangsan City in Gyeongnam has secured 45.7 billion KRW in national and provincial funding through the selection of public contest projects.
In particular, Mayor Na Dong-yeon and related officials visited government agencies (such as the National Assembly and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety) to meet with members of the National Assembly and propose regional issues and financial support, continuously engaging in proactive administration to achieve these results.
The major public contest projects selected in 2024 include △ Ultra-gap technology development and demonstration project for aerospace and defense sealant materials (total project cost 34.5 billion KRW) △ Support project for the development, equipment establishment, and commercialization of multi-image fusion diagnostic and therapeutic devices (15 billion KRW) △ Disaster safety industry promotion facility construction support (10 billion KRW) △ 2025 National Heritage Media Art Project (1.6 billion KRW) △ 2024 Youth Challenge Support Project (450 million KRW) △ Foreign Workers Regional Settlement Support Project (400 million KRW) △ 2024 Public Building Green Remodeling Support Project (150 million KRW), among others.
