Korea Airports Corporation Launches KakaoMap Indoor Map Service
It is now possible to find the locations of internal facilities at Gimpo, Gimhae, and Jeju airports using KakaoMap.
Korea Airports Corporation announced on the 22nd that it will launch this KakaoMap indoor map service.
Accordingly, passengers can check the locations and operating hours of convenience facilities frequently visited, such as restrooms and elevators, as well as commercial facilities like duty-free shops, restaurants, and cafes by floor through KakaoMap. Information on the locations of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) is also available to help respond quickly in emergencies.
The KakaoMap indoor map service is available on the latest version of the KakaoMap mobile application (app).

Park Jae-hee, head of the Strategic Planning Division at Korea Airports Corporation, said, "This service is a representative example of a data service realized through public-private cooperation, and we plan to expand the service to airports nationwide starting next year."
