SOOP, Official Launch of Global Live Streaming Platform... Full-Scale Overseas Expansion
Expanding Southeast Asian Market with Thailand Hub
Strengthening Collaboration between Game Companies and Local Streamers
SOOP announced on the 22nd that it will officially launch its global live streaming platform. Since the beta version release in June, it has been conducting various updates aimed at establishing a stable streaming environment and enhancing interaction among users.
Through its global platform, SOOP plans to expand its market to Southeast Asia and English-speaking regions. Thailand is a region where popular eSports content such as Valorant is active. SOOP intends to build a streaming ecosystem in collaboration with local streamers and strengthen interaction between users and streamers.
New services have also been introduced. To increase accessibility, a dedicated eSports page for Valorant, which enjoys high popularity overseas, has been launched. Various features have been added to facilitate communication and participation between streamers and users, including Drops, challenge mission systems, broadcast clip creation and sharing functions, free emoticons, streamer widgets, and subscription gift certificates.
SOOP plans to expand collaboration between game companies and local partner streamers in the global market. As part of this, it will cooperate with Riot Games in the 2025 season as the exclusive streaming partner for the Valorant Challengers Southeast Asia (VCT SEA) season, providing official coverage of the entire tournament. Additionally, it will support co-streaming with various streamers. This aims to provide high-quality streaming services to eSports fans while strengthening its position in the global eSports market.
