Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Hosts Dodgeball Match at National School Sports Club Festival
Selected as representatives of 17 City and Provincial Offices of Education, 88 Teams and 1,535 Participants Showcase Skills
A Sports Festival Centered on General Students, Not Athletic Specialization
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) announced on the 22nd that the opening ceremony of the dodgeball competition at the 17th National School Sports Club Festival will be held on the 23rd at the Osan Osaek Culture and Sports Center.

View original imageThis event, hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and the Korea Dodgeball Federation, will take place from the 22nd to the 24th, with 1,535 students from 88 teams nationwide participating. From Gyeonggi Province, 121 students from 6 teams will participate.
The National School Sports Club Festival is a sports festival primarily for general students rather than sports specialists. Competitions in 18 sports, including soccer, basketball, and volleyball, are held, with students selected as representatives from schools under the 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education showcasing their skills.
At the opening ceremony of the dodgeball competition, the Gyeonggi National Jump Rope Demonstration Team and the Pyeongtaek Taekwang High School band ZEST performed congratulatory performances to cheer on the student athletes.
Following this, the Gyeonggi representative athletes made a fair play declaration, emphasizing respect and consideration over victory and competition, reaffirming their commitment to participating in the sports club competition.
