Published in booklet form, Icheon News provides vivid municipal news and various lifestyle information. It has been praised for enhancing readership by appropriately expressing municipal news and policies through infographics, illustrations, and photographs, as well as for its visually impactful planning and editing with photos and designs matching each month's concept.
Additionally, the newsletter features a section introducing local cultural artists called 'Creative People' and a corner showcasing the lives and work of local small business owners, where QR codes allow readers to meet the protagonists through videos, which has also attracted attention.
The city places 'Icheon News' monthly at over 150 locations, including the city hall, eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers' civil service offices, local bus stops, and major apartment complexes. The newsletter is distributed free of charge to both expatriates and anyone wishing to subscribe.
