Mokpo Coast Guard Station (Chief Kwon Oh-seong) held a completion ceremony for the new Amtai Police Substation building in Amtai-myeon, Sinan-gun on the 21st.
About 80 people attended the ceremony, including Park Woo-ryang, Sinan County Governor, Lee Sang-joo, Chairman of Sinan County Council, the Chief of Sinan Police Station, the Chief of Sinan Fire Station, and Mokpo Coast Guard officers.

View original imageThe Amtai Police Substation was opened as Sinan Police Substation on September 1, 2020, and was renamed Amtai Police Substation on September 1, 2022.
Located at a key point on the so-called Diamond Islands route including Uido, Bigeum, and Amtai, the Amtai Police Substation is responsible for maritime security over an area of 1,120㎢, which is 26 times the size of Mokpo City. Since its opening, it has responded to over 30 maritime accidents, transported more than 100 emergency patients, and apprehended over 120 maritime criminals, striving to establish public order and safety.
