Gyeryong City to Hold 'SNS Content Contest'
Gyeryong City in South Chungcheong Province announced on the 21st that it will hold the "2024 Gyeryong City SNS Content Contest" for all citizens nationwide.
This contest is designed to discover SNS content that promotes Gyeryong City through creative ideas.
The contest has two categories: "Insta-toon" using the Gyeryong City Yongdoryeong character, and Instagram photos featuring landscapes, daily life, and more.
Applicants can submit their works and application forms to the City Hall Communication Officer Media Team by December 15.
The city will select a total of 16 works, including one Grand Prize winner in each category (1.4 million KRW), one Excellence Prize (800,000 KRW), three Merit Prizes (400,000 KRW each), and three Encouragement Prizes (200,000 KRW each). The winning works will be posted on the official city SNS channels and newsletters to be used as promotional materials for Gyeryong City.
Mayor Lee Eungwoo said, "We hope to see many participants interested in webtoons and photography join the first SNS content contest held in Gyeryong City," adding, "We will continue to discover various content contests created directly by citizens to widely promote Gyeryong City and expand opportunities for communication."
