Gyeryong City to Hold Senior Job Fair... Recruiting 1,297 People Next Year

View original imageGyeryong City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 20th that it held a Senior Job Fair at the Gyeryong Culture and Arts Center on the 19th.
This job fair was organized as part of the senior employment program, aiming to provide customized jobs tailored to the needs of seniors through explanations of each sub-program and one-on-one consultations.
At the fair, the Gyeryong City Integrated Job Support Center introduced various job opportunities for seniors, including positions at private companies that require senior manpower.
Additionally, volunteer programs were held, such as a CPR experience booth by the Gyeryong Fire Station, beauty and hairdressing services provided by the Ministry of National Defense, and nail art and exercise guidance by students from Konyang University.
Mayor Lee Eungwoo said, "We are implementing various welfare policies for seniors so that they can enjoy a happy life in the community," and added, "I would like to express my respect and gratitude to all seniors who always passionately challenge themselves to new chapters in life."
Meanwhile, the city plans to recruit 1,297 participants for 31 senior job and social activity support programs next year, an increase of 50 people compared to this year.
