Last year, it was introduced at Woolworths, the number one local supermarket, and IGA, the fourth largest local supermarket. Both locations sell Plant-based Melona and Bungeo Samanco products. Next month, Plant-based Melona and Bungeo Samanco products are scheduled to be introduced at Coles, the second largest local supermarket.
Plant-based Melona is an export-exclusive product that replicates the original Melona taste by replacing all dairy ingredients with plant-based raw materials. This approach considers the high non-tariff barriers applied to imported dairy products in regions such as Europe. Going forward, Binggrae plans to expand its lineup of plant-based ice creams and accelerate its efforts to penetrate overseas markets. A Binggrae representative stated, "We will focus on the Australian market as a key base for overseas expansion and strive to increase market share."

In May of this year, it was introduced and is currently being sold at Albert Heijn, a major mainstream distribution channel in the Netherlands. Additionally, it has recorded high sales rates at major Asian supermarket chains such as Tang Freres in France, Go Asia in Germany, Amazing Oriental in the Netherlands, and Oseyo in the United Kingdom. It is reported that the sales revenue of Plant-based Melona in the European region for the first half of this year has exceeded three times the total sales revenue of last year.
