The informant, Mr. A, who lives in Haenam, Jeollanam-do, said that he went out early in the morning on the 15th for a walk and found chrysanthemums scattered in front of his house.
When Mr. A checked the closed-circuit television (CCTV), it showed that around 12:20 a.m. that day, a man who appeared to be drunk staggered and barely kept his balance before sitting down on a slope in front of Mr. A's house. During this, he suddenly picked the chrysanthemums next to him, ate them, and repeatedly threw them away. The man's actions caused the chrysanthemum flowerpots to be disturbed.
Mr. A said, "I was upset because of this incident, but on the other hand, it was so funny to see a person eating flowers like a goat that I decided to report it," adding, "There have been cases of flowerpots being stolen, so I hope people will refrain from such behavior in the future."
